Antisemitism may be the longest hatred but could philosemitism be the longest love?

Who are the people who had—or have—affection and admiration for Judaism, for Jews, and for the Jewish people as a whole? What sparked that interest and what keeps it warm even in a climate of animosity towards Jews?  What have non-Jews done for Jews over the centuries? And what has Judaism begged, borrowed or stolen from non-Jewish cultures? Could it be that some of our best friends are not Jewish?

Angela will tackle these and related questions in her inimitable and much loved style. This is an original course, created especially for JW3.

Angela Gluck has worked as a teacher, trainer and consultant to schools and local authorities. She is the author of over 40 books on aspects of religion and history, and broadcasts on these subjects.
