Yossi Atia is a Sam Spiegel Film School alumni and holds an M.A. degree in directing from Tel-Aviv University. He has created and acted (with Itamar Rose) in over 20 short social and political films that were screened in film festivals worldwide. 'Born in Jerusalem and Still Alive' is his first full feature.

David Ofek is also a Sam Spiegel Film School alumni, and the director and writer of award winning documentary and fiction features, both for film and TV. His TV series, 'Killing Grandma', won four Israeli Academy Awards, while his film 'Ha-Mangalistim' won awards at international festivals.

'Born in Jerusalem and Still Alive' is a darkly quirky semi - autobiographical romance, between Ronen, who guides tours around the famous terror attack sites in Jerusalem as a way of coping with his own nightmares, and a girl with a thirst for life.
