A brand new series, developed especially for JW3! 

Presented by Neil Marcus who has been at the forefront of musical theatre development for many years and has developed or produced work for a number of artists including Maria Friedman, Elaine Paige, Dionne Warwick, Suzi Quatro, Michael Feinstein, Adam Guettel, Janie Dee and many more.

Neil has also taught musical theatre history on the Masters course at Arts Educational and has a unique overview of classic, new and Jewish musicals.

This course will look at the history of the Jewish songwriter, the development of the British and American musical, and landmark shows from Showboat to Hamilton with examples provided by a number of guest artists.
