Join us for this week's half-hour online briefing to discuss the latest on the current war in Israel.

We are honoured that Kobi Frig will be our presenter this week.

Kobi Frig is a producer with a unique style in large scale productions in public spaces throughout the city. Kobi puts great emphasis on creating events that are gratis, open to the general public, and include the local community, artists and businesses. Kobi is one of the founders of the "Awaking in Jerusalem" social movement, which empowers young people committed to staying in Jerusalem, and is a pivotal figure in the city’s cultural scene, including founding the famous Balabasta Festival of the annual Jerusalem Season of Culture. Kobi also selects and edits the musical content for a number of radio shows on Israel National Radio. His vision is to create local groups that bring on a real change in their physical and social environment.

In the last 2 years Kobi is the CEO of The Train Theater is an artistic repertoire puppet theater for children, which promotes freedom of creation, innovation and excellence of professional artists. The theater is unique in the world of children's theater in Israel and a leader in its field. The theater's shows are performed in Jerusalem, all over Israel, and worldwide. They are highly recognized and often receive prizes in Israel and all over the world. The theater is highly involved in the community and it appropriates a significant portion of its resources to community projects in the various types of populations as well as special education populations. Since the 10/7 it has raised funds and sent about 150 teams to present in front of the evacuees all over the country, and brought thousands of children to the Davidson Center. Kobis' recent ongoing project is Purim parade of giant doll puppets.
