Join us as we mark Holocaust Memorial Day, looking at this year's national theme of 'Ordinary People'.

Ordinary people were victims, bystanders, perpetrators and rescuers during the Holocaust. We will shine a light on the actions of ordinary people in the past to provide reflection and highlight our own roles in society today.

Narrated and presented by actor Ben Caplan (Call the Midwife, Band of Brothers, A Winter's Tale), this moving ceremony will include international cantor Jonny Turgel, music from the Kramer and Durcan Duo and testimonies from Holocaust Survivors Mala Tribich and Jackie Young.

Second Generation Lady Irene Hatter will speak about her father Sally (Salomon) Noach, and we will also be screening filmed interviews with Survivors and former Kindertransport refugees.

In addition, we're delighted to be joined by the mayor of Camden, Councillor Nasim Ali, who will address the audience.

I don't like being called a hero because no one should ever think you have to be special to help others.
