Can there really be security for Jews in The Diaspora?

Taking the periods of modern history when Jews were really at the edge of the precipice and had to take unprecedented decisions, Trudy will examine how individuals and groups responded during the following times: 1881-1914, 1933-1945, 1945-1948.

Using history she will examine some extraordinary individuals such as Abravanel, Dona Gracia, Duke of Naxos, Spinoza and many more. Trudy will roam from centre to centre investigating how we have fared and how we have been perceived by the outside world.

Trudy is a world renowned educator in Holocaust and anti-racism. Trudy is a former chief executive of the London Jewish Cultural Centre, which merged with JW3 in 2015.
