William presents a special extended lecture looking at enigmatic figure in our history, Oliver Cromwell.

The man who defeated autocracy, the man who established an English Republic, but died as Lord High Protector with the crown of England placed on his coffin for his funeral.

Was he really the red revolutionary his enemies painted him or was he just a conservative traditional member of the English Gentry? We shall hope to understand more of this complex personality.

William Tyler MBE has a large following at JW3, he is a freelance educator, lecturer, public speaker, writer and consultant with a main focus on History.
