A talk documenting and celebrating stories of Jewish life in places where the presence is diminishing, small, or already vanished.

Since April 2020, Jewish Small Communities Network (JSCN) and Swansea University have been working with a team of committed volunteers on a joint initiative called Connecting Small Histories, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

In this session, you are invited to join us to learn more about JSCN and the story of Connecting Small Histories, a project born out of the desire to document and celebrate stories of Jewish life in places where the presence is diminishing, small, or already vanished.

Our team will talk about the rich Jewish history of our six research locations: Eastbourne, St Annes, Bradford, Sunderland, Cumbria and Somerset, and we will share some of the incredible stories of the individuals and communities interviewed by our volunteers.

JW3 is proud to be showing this support for a wonderful project.
