Elsa Shamash, an eye witness of Kristallnacht, a Kindertransport refugee, a teacher and a campaigner will be in conversation with Ruth-Anne Lenga, Associate Professor and Programme Director of UCL's Centre for Holocaust Education, a longstanding expert in Holocaust education and UK delegate of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). The ceremony will also highlight German Holocaust education and commemoration.
