We are a denomiNATION made up of Jews of all different types and stripes and this is something to be celebrated.

The Jewish people are not a monolith - we don’t all look the same or believe in the same things. Young JW3 presents an online series exploring some of the people and stories behind the denominations and communities that make up the tapestry of the UK Jewish community today.

Each week we will hear from an emerging Jewish leader and learn about their denomination and community, what matters to them and what they love about the Jewish faith.

Rabbi Anna Posner

Rabbi Anna Posner was born and brought up in Nottingham where she was an active member of Nottingham Liberal Synagogue and involved in LJY Netzer. She now lives with her fiance (Cantor Tamara Wolfson) in Harrow and their two dogs. Anna has recently been ordained from Leo Baeck College and now serves as the Rabbi for Beit Klal Yisrael, Norwich Liberal Jewish Congregation and as Jewish Chaplain for Reform and Liberal Students. Beit Klal Yisrael, where Anna spent two years on student placement, is a congregation set up by radical, feminist lesbians 30 years ago and strives to be a community that welcomes those who have not felt comfortable in other community spaces and people who want to engage in a critical dialogue between Judaism’s religious and secular intellectual heritage.
