Tim Downie stars as Paul Green, a journalist for the fictitious newspaper The Jewish Enquirer

Season 2 (the first Season is on Netflix) charts his continuing inability to deal with the craziness of North-West London. Whether he’s stepping in to attend a Parent’s Evening for his sweary sister (Jeany Spark), exploring if there’s a “Jewish Premium” with a local Wedding Caterer (Sally Phillips) or just getting his toilet seat replaced aided by his perennially single friend Simon (Josh Howie),  Paul is confronted by disasters at every turn.

From the creator of Leon the Pig Farmer, Hapless is a rude, irreverent laugh-out-loud British comedy that happens to have some Jewish characters in it.

We will be joined for a post-screening conversation with the creators and stars of Hapless.
