To mark the 50th anniversary of the launch of Michael Freedland’s You Don’t Have to be Jewish – the weekly radio show that became a Sunday morning fixture in the lives of Jewish Londoners for more than two decades – Michael’s son Jonathan listens back to some of the programme’s defining moments.

Joined by historian Sir Simon Schama, former Israeli Labour party leader Isaac Herzog, and the Holocaust Education Trust’s Karen Pollock, he’ll ask how much the Jewish world has changed since 23 May 1971.
