JW3 are delighted to be joining with S&P Sephardi Community to present an evening of discussion with parenting expert Dr Abigail Gewirtz.

Psychologist Dr Abigail Gewirtz is a mother of 4. Inspired by her time seeing Israeli families deal with the tension of the first Gulf war, Dr Gewirtz is a leading expert in child psychology. Her new, timely book: "When the World Feels Like a Scary Place: Essential Conversations for Anxious Parents and Worried Kids" supports parents in tackling frightening topics with our children. Dr Gewirtz will be joining us live from Minneapolis, MN, USA, and will talk about how to discuss anything with your children; from racial injustice and climate change to Covid 19 and the lockdown.

Dr Gewirtz will be joined by Dr Efrat Sopher. Dr Efrat Sopher has advised governments and organisations on foreign policy in the Middle East and beyond. She is an active member of the World Jewish Congress Jewish Diplomatic Corps and has represented the WJC worldwide, including at the United Nations Human Rights Council. Dr Efrat Sopher also serves as a co-opted Board Member of the S&P Sephardi Community.
