Head of People

JW3’s Head of People will be responsible for developing a successful and forward thinking HR function for our diverse and vibrant organisation. 

This standalone role will be both administrative and strategic, acting as the link between JW3’s management and employees. In addition the person will be responsible for developing a strategic HR people plan which aligns with JW3’s organisational vision and goals. As a member of our senior leadership team, our Head of People will be an innovator, a trusted advisor and an agent of change for the organisation overall. Working across all aspects of the organisation, the individual will be responsible for the implementation and success of HR strategies, policies and initiatives.

Salary £50-60k per year.

Duty Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Duty Manager to join the JW3 team.

The Duty Manager has the overall responsibility for the successful on-the-day delivery and operational excellence of JW3 events and activities; maintaining staff, visitor and building welfare at all times whilst on duty.

We are seeking someone who is a self-starter, able to use a high level of initiative and has excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have superb organisational and time management skills and a track record of Duty Management in an Arts/Culture or Community venue. The ability to liaise with other teams such as programming, Box Office and production is essential.

Hours will be predominantly evenings and weekends.

Salary £21-22k per year. Full time (37.5 hours) one year fixed term contract with potential to extend.

Families Programmer

Come and join our busy, friendly team of imaginative programmers at JW3, creating hundreds of events and experiences week in week out, in our wonderful Jewish space where everyone is welcome. Have meetings on our beach in summer, enjoy drinks on the ice rink in winter… and be part of a unique project to strengthen community, forge relationships and champion diverse stories inside and outside the Jewish community.

Are you passionate about connecting people together and developing communities? We are look for a new family programmer who has top notch co-ordination and partnership building skill to join the Community Programming Team.

You will be developing, planning and co-ordinating the Families programme, building relationships with our Families audience and helping them to connect with each other. With a focus on our Sunday and Bank Holiday programme.

You will be able to use your own initiative and have a creative flair whilst understanding the different operational elements need to deliver a quality engaging event.

(Salary £25-28k Pro Rota if Part Time)

Legacy Fundraising Executive

A new exciting opportunity has come up for a Legacy Fundraising Executive with excellent communication and people skills to join our friendly, dedicated, and increasingly successful JW3 Development Team.  You may have worked in a charity legacy team before or in a private client or financial estate administration setting. You will build on JW3’s new Legacy fundraising campaign, launched in 2018, with a specific aim of increasing the awareness and therefore the number of people who sign up to leave JW3 a gift in their will. Through applying good judgement and legal knowledge, you will ensure the legacy income left to JW3 is properly received to ensure the maximum benefit for our beneficiaries.

(Salary range £26-30k FTE)
