Join Shelter CEO, Polly Neate CBE, and Shelter ambassador and BAFTA nominated film director, Sarah Gavron (“Suffragette”, “Rocks”), for a conversation exploring the devastating impact of the cost-of-living crisis and the pandemic on our already broken housing system.

Examining the power of storytelling and testimony in advocacy, Shelter’s current Fight for Home campaign, and the parallels between the fight for housing rights and that for voting rights explored in Gavron’s 2015 film “Suffragette”, Polly and Sarah will shine a light on a crisis that leaves hundreds of thousands living in unsafe conditions, experiencing discrimination, or forced to choose between rent and food.
