Join Rabbi Miri Lawrence and My Aerial Home for a circus extravaganza as they bring you the forgotten history of an extraordinary German Jewish circus family, The Blumenfelds.
The story comes to life with performances by professional aerial circus artists. Hear and see how the Blumenfelds rose from humble beginnings as poor rural fairground performers to become one of the leading German circuses during what has been called, ‘The Golden Age of Circus’ (1870s-1920s).
The performance will be followed by a 45-minute workshop, where you can try circus skills for yourself in the after-show workshop, and see if the circus life is for you!
Workshop is suitable for those aged 6 and above.
