New York City, 1987: The day after Rosh Hashanah, two sisters - both lawyers - convene a symbolic trial for their dying mother.

They need to know: was she a victim of duress and necessity, or was she complicit in their father's crimes during their childhood? Over the course of one night, they will confront each other's version of events, as well as their deepest fears.

This is a rehearsed reading of a brand-new play.
