Whether it’s a jumper with a hole, a well-loved plushie, or a pile of 'what-if' fabric scraps, join artist Miki Shaw to turn your textiles into something unique.
Using visible mending, bold patches, darning, and embroidery, we’ll show you how to turn rips, stains, and flaws into your favorite features.
Session @ 1pm: For The Whole Family
Under the friendly guidance of artist Miki Shaw, who led our highly celebrated 2025 family workshop series, you'll discover fun and imaginative techniques like stitching, patching, appliqué, darning, and embroidery. Bring along any textile item your family would love to repair or renew. This could be a favourite piece of clothing with a little tear, a beloved stuffed animal or doll, a special accessory, or even just colourful scraps of fabric and yarn that spark joy. The idea is to transform something worn into something cherished, celebrating the spirit of repair and renewal together as a family.
