This is JW3’s Mock Seder for young adults, and you’re invited. Yes, YOU!

Jewish Educator and Chazan (Cantor) Rebecca Blumenfeld explores the festival of Pesach, its rituals and how different Jewish cultures celebrate it. Get the lowdown on the themes of the festival and how they relate to the present day.

There’ll be matzah. There’ll be wine. There’ll be all the special symbolic foods. There might even be one or two frogs (don’t worry, you won’t have to eat those!).

So join us and find out everything you always wanted to know (but were too afraid to ask) about this iconic Jewish festival, in a non-judgemental, cross-communal space.

Chazan Rebecca “Bex” Blumenfeld is a Spiritual and Liturgical Leader, and a Jewish educator. She graduated from Hebrew College in Boston in 2015 with cantorial ordination (smicha) and a Masters in Jewish Studies and she moved back to the UK (where she was born) with her family in 2016. She works as a freelance Chazan and a Jewish educator. She is a teacher and mentor for EAJL (the European Academy of Jewish Liturgy); she is employed by Masorti Judaism and she works part-time for the Oxford Jewish Congregation.
