This fascinating programme features all possible combinations of instruments available to this trio.

The Martinů is a fascinating and exciting piece which explores all the opportunities of violin and cello playing together without a piano; and the Debussy is the most popular and exquisite of French violin sonatas.

The early Beethoven Variations on a great Mozart aria are full of charm. The Schumann Phantasiestücke are a rarity which is rapidly becoming mainstream; and the programme is bookended by two delightful Haydn trios.

Greek-Albanian Kadesha is one of the world’s most individual, compelling and imaginative violinists; Greenberg, a London-based Israeli pianist and Hunter, Vienna- based and born in Kilburn, are equally gifted and riveting musicians.  Their palpable chemistry as an ensemble is vivid and stimulating.
