Irmina Trynkos, international star soloist, has made it her mission to recover Jewish classical music that was suppressed or forgotten.

Her Naxos recording features the world premiere of works by Ignatz Waghalter — a Polish-Jewish composer who fled the Nazis and died in New York in 1949 with his music entirely lost.

Join Irmina to uncover composers' stories, moving through: Waghalter, Achron, Ullmann and Weinberg. The programme will close with a London premiere by living Israeli-British composer Nimrod Borenstein, who is expected to attend in person.

Irmina is a London-based international violinist whose performances are defined by intensity, physical presence, and emotional immediacy. BBC Music Magazine has hailed her as “an intense and charismatic new star” and “a phenomenal talent,” awarding her a 5★ Concerto Choice Award for her recording with Maestro Vladimir Ashkenazy.
