Please join us from Sunday 14 April to show your connection and solidarity with Alon and all the hostages still held in Gaza, by playing or listening to the Yellow Piano. Because their melody can’t be stopped.

Running from 14 to 18 April 2024

A 23-year-old gifted pianist

6 months in captivity

His fate remains unknown

Alon Ohel, an innocent civilian and a gifted pianist, was abducted by Hamas from the Nova festival in Israel on October 7th. His whereabouts are currently unknown, causing profound distress to his family.

The Yellow Piano was first set up in Tel Aviv and has since been installed in New York, Paris and Amsterdam. Now it comes to JW3 for a limited time.

The piano, open to the public, invites everyone to play and connect with the message Alon’s family wishes to convey: music transcends borders, reaching out to touch everyone, regardless of religion, nationality, age, or gender.

The installation coincides with the weeks leading up to Pesach (Passover). Now more than ever, this Jewish holiday's symbolism of freedom and liberation are at the forefront of those marking the date.

We invite you to join us in raising awareness of Alon's story and the of the hostages. Through music, let's send them love, strength, and the reassuring message that they are not alone.
