Discover the art of balance, calm, and vitality through Tai Chi with experienced teacher Shira Klasmer.
Tai Chi is a gentle yet powerful whole-body practice, combining slow, flowing movements with mindful breathing and meditation. Through regular practice, students cultivate greater flexibility, coordination, inner strength, and stability, while reducing stress and encouraging the free flow of Qi (energy) throughout the body.
In these classes, Shira introduces movements from the Yang style Tai Chi form, alongside Qi Gong exercises designed to deepen awareness, presence, and vitality. Whether you are completely new to Tai Chi or looking to reconnect with your practice, these sessions offer a welcoming and accessible entry point into this ancient Chinese art.
Shira began her Tai Chi journey at the age of 15, training under Master Linjun Wen at San Ling College, and completed her three-year instructor training in 2001. A Senior Instructor member of the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain, Shira has over 20 years of teaching experience in North West London.
Join her for weekly Tai Chi classes at JW3 on Wednesday (9.30am - 10.30am) and Friday mornings (10.30am - 11.30am), and experience a practice that nurtures body, mind, and energy.
