Reflecting the issues affecting Jewish communities in the wider world as well as in Israel, this is the story of Yaniv and Ivgeny, two boys chosen to represent Israel at an international music event raising funds for needy Jewish communities in the Diaspora.
During the tour Yaniv, who was born in Israel, and Ivgeny, a Ukrainian immigrant to Israel, encounter situations that force them to confront the reality of their different life experiences and role in Israeli society. The clash that follows threatens the success of the tour and mirrors the various rifts within Israeli society and Jewish communities in the wider world. Will Yaniv and Ivgeny be able to move beyond their differences and find common ground?
