Family Foodbank Takeover: Packing Supplies

We're inviting YOU and your awesome crew to take over our Foodbank for a morning of packing and sorting, ready to distribute food to our neighbours in need.    It's a fantastic way for all ages to see the impact they can make over the course of a couple of hours.

When you need a little break from being a food-packing pro, dive into our crafting corner or rest your feet in the sand of our all-weather beach! We promise a morning of smiles, teamwork, and making a big difference. 

Closer to the day, we'll be in touch ask for the age of each person attending so we can make sure we have activities and roles perfect for everyone!

To be an extra superhero, please bring a donation of non-perishable food items with you! Your contributions will directly help local families in need. At the moment we are most in need of the following (please make sure all items are vegetarian, vegan or kosher):

• 500g-1kg bags of rice or pasta
• Tinned vegetables (e.g. tomatoes, peas)
• Tinned tuna/sardines
• Tinned plant-based protein (e.g. lentils, chickpeas)
• Snacks (e.g. crisps, biscuits)
• Toothbrushes and toothpaste
• Washing up liquid and sponges
• Laundry detergent pods
• Size 7 pull up nappies

Why not make a day of it? After the packing session, join us for one of our family cooking sessions in the afternoon!

Please note that the 9.30am packing session, and the 10am cooking session, run at the same time, so it's only possible to attend one of them.
