He has written for most publications in the United States and Britain and his last book War in 140 Characters: How Social Media is Reshaping Conflict in 21st Century was published to international acclaim. It is taught at Sandhurst, West Point and NATO, and used by the UK Ministry of Defence. In February 2022 The Wall Street Journal the chose War in 140 Characters as one of “7 books to read to understand why Russia wants Ukraine.”
He is the author of Nuclear Iran: The Birth of an Atomic State and the host of the Daily Mail's Apocalypse Now podcast. He has lectured and spoken extensively at universities and think tanks in both the US and UK, including Harvard, Yale, Oxford and Cambridge, and appears regularly on TV and radio.
David will be in conversation with Ben Kentish. Ben is a presenter at LBC, where he hosts the late night show between 10pm and 1am Monday to Thursday. Before getting his own show at the broadcaster, he was the Westminster Editor at LBC, where he spent the week in Parliament, talking to government ministers, MPs and civil servants and reporting on the inner workings of Westminster and all the major political stories of the day.
