Join us for a special talk by Greek Cypriot journalist Kostis Konstantinou as he shares his story, his passion, and the challenges he faces as a journalist committed to truth and fairness.

Kostis has reported from numerous conflict zones -- including during the outbreak of the Second Iraq War, Armenia Nagorno-Karabakh, Colombia (during the War on Cocaine), Lebanon and Ukraine,. He currently divides his time between Athens, Nicosia, and Israel, where his main focus is reporting on the War in Gaza and developments in Israel and the wider region. Throughout his career, he has not only represented Cyprus and Greece with integrity but has also emerged as a powerful voice of solidarity with the Jewish people.

Kostis is a valued friend of the Jewish community -- locally in Greece and Cyprus, and internationally -- and has played a vital role in fostering dialogue and cooperation between Jewish and non-Jewish organisations.

The moderator will be Dr. Efrat Sopher, Middle East and Foreign Policy Advisor.

Dr. Efrat Sopher is a foreign policy expert specialising in the Middle East, on which she is a leading voice. She is Chair of the Board of Advisors at the Ezri Centre for Iran and Gulf States Research at the University of Haifa, and founder of the consultancy firm Ezri Strategic Consultancy. She advises governments and international organisations on foreign policy and security in the region. Dr Sopher also serves on the Executive Committee of the World Jewish Congress, battling antisemitism and advancing interfaith understanding globally. She holds a PhD and MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a qualified solicitor.

Dr. Sopher will moderate an in-depth conversation with journalist Kostis Konstantinou.
