This 12 week course is for complete beginners in the language, and those who have acquired some expressions informally through travel or socialising.
The course will enable students with no previous Arabic knowledge to read and write short texts, communicate using basic high frequency expressions and structures, and to gradually gain an insight into Arabic culture.
Ghinwa is a native speaker of Arabic who has extensive experience in teaching Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic, and Levantine Arabic in higher education. Ghinwa is passionate about integrating cultural and literary works with language teaching, which allows students to become engaged in the cultural, political and historical perspectives on Arabic societies as well as linguistic aspect of the language.
