A panel of experts discuss the dual hate of antisemitism and misogyny and suggest ways in which we can tackle it.

Antisemitism and misogyny overlap and result in the specific, targeted abuse of Jewish women. This intersectional harm manifests in different ways, from online threats to abusive real-world interactions.

In 2018, the Antisemitism Policy Trust and the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) Against Antisemitism, together with support from the UK Government, hosted the first ever event seeking to bring together top experts to discuss and analyse these issues. Known as the Sara Conference, that session kickstarted a continuing interest in, exploration of and efforts to tackle this dual hate.

Lord Mann of Holbeck Moor, John Mann, the former chair of the APPG, and now Independent Adviser to the British Government on antisemitism, will host a panel of experts and those who have experienced this form of hate.

Speakers including Charlotte Nichols MP, Danny Stone MBE and others will discuss how it manifests and what we can do about it, with contributions from Professor Karin Stögner (university of Passau) and Seyi Akiwowo (Glitch).

In partnership with Antisemitism Policy Trust.

This discussion will take place in the building and will be streamed online via our Facebook and YouTube pages.
