Venue Hire FAQs

When is JW3 open for venue hire?
Weekdays 9.30am-11pm
Saturdays: During winter months evening events can be held, the building will close at 11pm on these days
Sundays: 9am-11pm

Can I hire a space on Shabbat?
Yes, but only if the event being held is Shabbat compliant. Children's parties cannot be held during Shabbat. Shabbat lasts from sunset of Friday until nightfall on Saturday.

How long before the building closes do events need to finish?
All events must finish 30 minutes before the building closes.

How long can I hire a room?
We hire rooms on an hourly, half day and full day rate.

Do you have different rates for charities?
Yes we have three different venue hire rates, for charities, private events and corporate events. Make sure that you let us know which event you are holding so you are quoted the correct rate.

What extra charges may I occur?
We may charge for set up and take down depending on the event.
We do not charge for the hire of AV and sound equipment, but it will be subject to availability.

What catering can we use for our event?
External licenced kosher caterers are welcome for all hires. For large events taking place in the Howard Hall we have a room which can be used as a field kitchen. For children's birthday parties food can be delivered from local licenced kosher caterers, including the birthday cake.

Is there parking available?
We have four blue badge spaces which will need to be booked in advance. Paid parking is available at the O2 Centre, 400m away. Free parking on Finchley Road and adjacent side roads after 7pm (6.30pm side roads) Mondays to Saturdays and all day Sunday.
Suppliers can drop off and pick up with prior agreement.
