Join artist Laura Arenson for a relaxed & creative 3-part drawing course, combining creativity with liquid inspiration.
Enjoy a free drink on us as Laura guides you through fun, step-by-step drawing lessons, drawing from a live model and coming to observe the human face in ways we have never done before.
Each week, Laura will delve into an exploration of constructing the anatomy of the skull and how to articulate a person's unique likeness and their expressions through the visual language of art. You will begin to consider gesture, proportion and structure in order to build a strong basis for your portrait, followed by tone, values and how to render and “turn” the form as you finalise your drawings.
All basic materials (and your first drink!) are included. However, please feel free to bring your own materials if you prefer.

Who It’s For:
Everyone! Bring your friends, colleagues or come solo and meet new people in a laid-back, welcoming environment. This class aims to nurture enjoyment and self-confidence in drawing in a structured and supported environment. All levels are welcome. No prior experience is necessary.
Who Delivers It?
Laura is an internationally-recognised artist, having had her work exhibited in galleries and museums in New York, Washington D.C., Paris, Barcelona and London, including at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition, the Portrait Society of America and the Museum of European Modern Art. Her recent work includes portraits of Holocaust Survivors in the hope that through art the Survivors' extraordinary stories will continue to be shared.
