Winner of many awards including a special Oscar, Hayley Mills rose from child star in such classic films as Tiger Bay, Pollyanna, Whistle Down the Wind and The Parent Trap.
She later appeared on stage as J M Barrie’s Peter Pan, as Anna in The King & I, in Noel Coward's Two Keys and in Sondheim's A Little Night Music. She featured on TV in Good Morning Miss Bliss and Wild at Heart amongst many other performances.
As the youngest daughter of one of Britain's most distinguished actors, Sir John Mills, Hayley had to set her sights high to become Disney's biggest female star ever.
