Join us for a lively and social evening to celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day!
We’ll start with welcome drinks and nibbles - and a special Hebrew language exchange where everyone is encouraged to speak and practice Hebrew in a friendly, low-pressure setting. Whether you’re fluent, just starting out, or somewhere in between, you’ll find helpful conversation prompts and vocab sheets to guide you. It’s a great chance to connect through language and culture before the dancing begins.
Next, get ready for a high-energy Israeli folk dance class led by Liat Oberlander from the Israeli Dance Institute.
Whether you're a seasoned rikud pro or new to Israeli dance, this is the perfect way to celebrate Israeli culture, meet new people, and move to joyful rhythms. Come solo or bring a friend - all are welcome!
Remember to wear comfy clothes and shoes and bring a water bottle (which you can refill here).
Timings:
