Join us for a buzz-worthy evening as we dive into the world of honey just bee-fore Rosh Hashanah! Whether you're a honey connoisseur or just sweet on new experiences, this event is the bee's knees.
We're thrilled to welcome Hendon Honey – a small, hobbyist honey producer run by Yoni and Abigail Carmel. Since 2019, they’ve been lovingly tending their hives in Hendon, which each house up to 50,000 bees, each headed by a single queen bee. Their bees forage in local gardens and parks, producing a honey with an incredibly floral and complex flavour, thanks to the rich mix of native and exotic blooms in the area.
What to expect:
🍯 Taste a variety of honeys including local honey from Hendon Honey
🧠 Learn from Yoni the beekeeper about the history and science of bees and beekeeping
🌼 Discover how the flowers of North West London end up on your Rosh Hashanah Yom Tov table
Whether you come solo or bring a hive of friends, it’s the perfect way to learn something new and taste a variety of honey from North West London.
