This gentle workshop combines slow restorative and Hatha yoga to help you rest, "down-regulate" the nervous system, and return to the present moment.

We’ll move through body and breath practices before finishing with a sound healing journey using Alchemy crystal singing bowls to support deep rest and rejuvenation. No experience, flexibility or prior yoga knowledge is needed. Sargam will guide you throughout and offer variations so each person can move in a way that feels comfortable and supportive for their body.

This will be a phone-free zone. Please wear loose comfortable clothing, a warm layer and a blanket, as well as a water bottle, which you can refill here. Mats and yoga props will be provided, although you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. We also have lockers and changing rooms available.

The sound bowls are not recommended for those in the first trimester of pregnancy, for people with pacemakers, epilepsy, or severe mental health problems such as schizophrenia, and should be approached with caution if you have metal plates inside the body. Any injuries or concerns regarding the contra-indications, please talk to Sargam at the start of the event.

About Sargam:

Sargam has practised yoga regularly for around 30 years, and her appreciation and curiosity about yoga continues to deepen each day. She qualified as a 200 hour Yoga teacher under the experienced tutorship of Susannah Hoffman at Triyoga Camden. She has also completed a restorative yoga teacher training with Anna Ashby, and is a certified crystal singing bowls sound healer, trained with Holly Husler and Carly Grace.

Sargam is also a very experienced HCPC registered Creative Arts Therapist & Supervisor, and Dance/Movement facilitator. She has a passion for weaving sacred, embodied, creative, mindful practises together, and hopes for her yoga classes to calm and elevate our souls and bodies, finding stillness, resources and focus amidst the chaos of the world around us. She offers hands on assists for students who welcome them.
