Family Foodbank Takeover: Supermarket Sweep

Every Monday we receive up to 80 supermarket-sized delivery crates, and we need lots of helping hands to sort through, organise and store everything in the right place. It's a fantastic opportunity to see first-hand the work our volunteers put in to help run our weekly Foodbank and the teamwork that keeps it running. We're opening this vital volunteering session to young families, giving children and adults alike the chance to get involved, learn about food poverty, teamwork and most importantly - make a real difference in the community.

As part of the afternoon, we will also be visiting the O2 Shopping Centre for a supermarket sweep to purchase donations for the Foodbank.

While this is a free event, we kindly suggest each family bring £15 to purchase essential items for the JW3 Foodbank. 

All children need guardian supervision throughout so parents and carers are expected to stay for this activity - and their participation is strongly encouraged!
