  • A booking fee of £2 and a security levy of £1.50 will be added to all orders.

Join us for a social and crafting workshop, open to everyone from complete beginners to experienced quilters.

We’ll collage fabrics, embroider and share individual stories, contributing to a collective public art quilt that will be installed at JW3. Young JW3 is one of many groups participating in the wider Quilting Jewish London project taking place across 2027.

You’ll also help to create and take home a custom tea towel, while contributing a square to the collective quilt.

Bring along personal items, recipes, songs or rituals that are positive reflections of what being Jewish means to you - things you’d like future generations of Jewish Londoners to discover, remember and connect with. This could include an old camp t-shirt, a tote bag from a Jewish experience, your great-great-grandfather's tallit, your bubbe's chicken soup recipe, a poem you read in shul, a ritual you perform, song lyrics... whatever holds positive meaning for you. You can also write or print something out and bring it along.

The workshop will be audio recorded, but participants will remain anonymous.

Participation in the Quilting Jewish London project is free. We’re offering a subsidised light dinner alongside the session, with a £5 contribution requested towards the cost of dinner.
