Join Michelle Huberman for a fascinating and colourful introduction to the world of Jewish Henna – an ancient tradition celebrated by Jewish communities across North Africa and the Middle East for generations.

Through photographs, stories, costumes, objects and personal research, Michelle will explore the history and meaning of the Jewish henna ceremony, including distinctive customs from North African, Iraqi, Yemenite, Persian and other Sephardi and Mizrahi communities.

Guests may also be invited to have a small amount of henna applied to their hand, offering the chance to experience one of the joyful and symbolic elements of the ceremony.
