Family Foodbank Cooking Day: French Menu

Thu 29 Oct Multiple times
Thu 29 Oct

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend the Autumn with the whole family?

Come and volunteer with us as we cook up a storm for our Foodbank – this time our tastebuds will be taking a trip to France, creating a selection of delicious sweet and savoury puff pastry treats!

You’ll be helping prepare fresh, home-cooked meals for those in need at our special 'Puff Pastry Day’ with a French inspired menu, led by special guest lead chef Inbar Linenberg.

Menu:

Mains:

-Ratatouille Tart

- Mushroom & Leek Tart

- Puff Pastry style Pizzette

Side:

-French Bean Salad

Dessert:

- Mixed Stone Fruit Tarte Tatin

There will be three hands-on cooking sessions throughout the day. It's £10 per person to cover ingredient costs.

This activity is perfect for children aged 8 and up (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). As Foodbank demand continues to rise, we also welcome donations of non-perishable, vegetarian-friendly items if you'd like to support our Foodbank further.

Cooking sessions: 10.30am–12noon, 12.30–2pm, 3–5pm.
