Terms & Conditions
By attending JW3, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Tickets & Entry
- Tickets may be purchased online, by phone, or in person at the JW3 Box Office.
- All attendees, regardless of age, must hold a valid ticket at all times, unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g. babies in arms). Entry may be refused without a valid ticket.
- E‑tickets (QR code) must be presented on a mobile device or as a printout.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure booking details are correct at the time of purchase.
- Tickets may not be resold through unauthorised outlets. Tickets sold in breach of this condition may be rendered void.
Group Bookings
By confirming a group booking, you agree to the terms:
Booking and Deposit
A 50% deposit is required upon receipt of the invoice to secure the booking. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Payment Terms
The full balance must be paid no later than four (4) weeks before the scheduled event date. Failure to make full payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be provided in writing. The deposit is retained by JW3, and the following charges apply:
- 8 to 12 weeks before the event: 25% of the remaining balance is payable.
- 4 to 8 weeks before the event: 50% of the remaining balance is payable.
- Less than 4 weeks before the event: 100% of the remaining balance is payable.
Arrival, Latecomers & Seating
- Doors usually open approximately 15 minutes before an event starts.
- Latecomers may be admitted at a suitable break or may not be admitted at all if this is not possible.
- Allocated seating may be changed to seats of equal value if necessary.
- Any concerns regarding sightlines or audibility must be reported promptly to theatre management during the performance.
Refunds, Exchanges & Ticket Credits
- Tickets are non‑refundable, except where an event is cancelled or abandoned.
- Exchanges may be offered at JW3’s discretion, subject to availability. Exchange fees and upgrade charges may apply.
- Ticket credit, if issued, is valid for up to one year from the date of issue.
- If you contact JW3 less than 24 hours before a sold‑out performance, JW3 may attempt to resell your ticket as a courtesy, but resale cannot be guaranteed.
Pricing & Fees
- A transaction fee and security levy apply to all bookings.
- Programmes may be altered without prior notice. JW3 is not liable for compensation or damages arising from such changes.
Access, Medical Information & Parking
- Customers with access or medical requirements should contact the Box Office in advance.
- Limited parking is available for disabled visitors only and must be pre‑booked.
- Customers will be notified in advance if strobe lighting is used. Those with medical sensitivities should seek advice prior to attending.
Children & Young People
- Unless otherwise stated, under‑16s must be accompanied by an adult.
- Under‑12s must be accompanied by an adult aged 16 or over. Group bookings require one adult for every 6 children.
- Children under 18 months do not require a ticket and will not be allocated a seat.
- Buggies, baby carriers, and similar items are not permitted in the main Hall.
- Entry may be refused where age restrictions apply.
Personal Belongings & Animals
- Cloakroom space is limited; large bags or suitcases may not be permitted.
- Visitors are responsible for their personal property. JW3 cannot accept liability for loss or damage.
- Animals are not permitted, except assistance dogs.
Photography, Recording & Media
- Photography, filming, audio recording, and the use of mobile phones or smart devices during events is prohibited. Devices must be switched off or disabled (unless announced otherwise).
- JW3 may photograph, film, or record audio for promotional purposes. Attendance constitutes consent unless you inform a member of staff.
Safety, Security & Data Protection
- Security checks may be conducted on arrival, and CCTV operates inside and outside the building.
- Customer data is processed in accordance with data protection legislation.
- Visitors must comply with safety measures in place to protect staff and other customers.
Conduct & Behaviour
- JW3 aims to provide a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.
- Intoxicated, abusive, violent, or disruptive behaviour will result in removal from the premises without refund.
- Alcohol service may be refused, and proof of age may be required.
- Visitors must follow reasonable instructions from JW3 staff.
- Customers must not congregate outside the building after events.
Food, Drink & Smoking
- Only food and drink purchased at JW3 may be consumed on the premises and must comply with kashrut requirements.
- Smoking, including e‑cigarettes, is prohibited on site.
Prohibited Items
The following are not permitted within JW3:
- Weapons or sharp objects
- Illegal substances
- Items intended to disrupt events
- Offensive or provocative signage, clothing, or materials
- Materials intended for protest or demonstration
Confiscated items may be retained and returned where safe and lawful.
Liability
- JW3 is not liable for loss, injury, or damage unless caused by negligence.
