William Galinsky
Director of Programming
William joined JW3 in January 2022 after a twenty-five year career as a theatre director and artistic director. He was artistic director of the Cork Midsummer Festival in Ireland from 2008-2011 and the Norfolk & Norwich Festival from 2011-2017. At both festivals he commissioned and produced a number of major arts projects including Spencer Tunick Ireland, Robert Wilson's landscape artwork WALKING on the Holkham Estate for London 2012, and the site specific theatre production WOLF's CHILD with Wildworks at the National Trust's Felbrigg Hall. He was Creative Programmer for Kirklees Year of Music where he commissioned the music-textiles mash-up HERD which won the Yorkshire Post's Tourism Event of the Year. At JW3 he is responsible for the team who delivers the arts, learning and social action programmes. He has been responsible for the annual JW3 Panto, the Camden-wide interfaith collaboration Little Amal's Spring Gathering, and the London Jewish Mural.
