Raymond Simonson
Chief Executive
Raymond has been CEO of JW3 since our doors opened in 2013. A professionally qualified Community & Youth Worker with over 30 years' experience in informal education, leadership development and community building, he holds a BA in Jewish History, and an MA in Applied Anthropology and Community & Youth Work. Previously, Raymond spent over a decade at The Jewish Agency working with thousands of Jewish educators and youth leaders across the UK and in Israel and served as UK Director of Informal Jewish Education. Then, as the first full-time Executive Director of Limmud, he played a key role in its development as a global movement. In a voluntary capacity he is a Trustee of various charities in the Jewish and wider community sector, and mentors young community leaders in the UK and across Europe. His wife and teenage children are extremely patient.
