Becky Plotnek

Producer

Becky Plotnek is a creative producer and founder of Plotnek Productions. They support irreverent, joyful, experimental work that is resistant to the way things are.

Their producing company supports careful & nurtured delivery of projects, through flexible and individualised artist development, with the aim to share knowledge, demystify and make horizontal the processes that might normally gatekeep, or otherwise cause barriers, to artists’ and creators’ professional development.

They work with a rich mix of artists across theatre, performance art, cabaret and combined arts. Producing credits include: Nick Cassenbaum’s REVENGE: After The Levoyah (Fringe First Winner 2024; SOHO Theatre; The Yard), Hannah Maxwell’s Turn Your F*cking Phones Off (Fringe First Winner 2026) and they have supported creative development of artists including Midgitte Bardot (AKA Tamm Reynolds), an* neely & moa johannsson, and Oozing Gloop (access support). They were co-curator for DICE Festival which was presented at Summerhall (Edinburgh Fringe 2018) and Barbican (2021).

Becky is absolutely delighted to be back at the helm to produce JW3's pantomime in its fourth year, and is hoping this year, with a diamond heist, they might finally find a way to shoe-in a joke about the infamous Plotnek Diamond. Either way, this year’s going to be a gem of a show.
