Join Paula Kitching as she brilliantly and irreverently tackles current affairs each week. Topics are chosen by you and the major issues of the day.

What You’ll Learn: 

By the end of this course, you will be able to: 

  • Develop a deeper understanding of UK & global current affairs
  • Read a variety of news stories, analysing different perspectives, viewpoints and media coverage.  
  • Participate in engaging and informed discussions.  

Who It’s For: 

This course is for anyone who wants to better understand the major political, social and economic issues affecting our world.  No prior knowledge of politics or international relations is needed – just a desire to learn and engage in conversation.  

Who Delivers It: 

Paula Kitching is a historian and writer. She is the project manager and historian for a project that is building a digital archive on the Jewish experience of the First World War. Paula is a regular contributor to the Historian magazine of the Historical Association and has written articles for commemorative publications for the Royal British Legion, the MOD and JW3.
