Cinema: November 2026 Curation

"November is a real treat for film lovers at our cinema, with exclusive films, special previews and conversations that continue beyond the credits.

We open with a preview of Peter Asher: The Everywhere Man, a feel-good journey through the music and memories of the Northwest Londoner who became an influential figure in popular music. Back by popular demand, The Shoshani Riddle offers another chance to discover the enigmatic figure at the heart of this word-of-mouth favourite.

From 10-16 November, the UK Jewish Film Festival brings new features, documentaries and shorts, closing with A Long Journey Home and a Q&A. There’s also Babka, a short film about a blind baker and his guide dog, accompanied by a Q&A, a canine guest and, of course, babka.

Later in the month, Hanna’s Story shares a community member’s deeply personal account of his wife’s experience of cancer, followed by a discussion on 22 November. Giant confronts Roald Dahl’s antisemitism, with playwright Mark Rosenblatt joining us for a Q&A on 23 November.

We close with Tell Me Everything, Israel's submission for the 99th Academy Awards, screening exclusively at our cinema from 25 November - rounding off a month with plenty to talk about."
