Open mic. In the hut.

It’s been nine months and the time has come to put your sourdough starter away and throw on some clean clothes for our first live and in person Young JW3 Open Mic Night. We will be partnering with The Council of Christians and Jews (CCJ) to bring you a night of performances from people across different faiths during the Jewish festival of Succot, the Jewish festival marking the 40-year post exodus period of displacement.

We are looking for music, spoken word/poetry and theatre/performance focusing on the theme of shelter, refuge and home. If you’d like to perform please email Joe Hyman, Young JW3 Programmer at joe@jw3.org.uk

If you aren’t ready to take to the stage, come and join us anyway for a drink and enjoy a night of music, performance and community.

CCJ, hosted by JW3, have created a Succah, a temporary hut, showcasing artwork from their The Little Squares of Hope: Shelter from Storm project, an initiative in commemoration of Succot.  Individual experiences and interpretations of shelter have been expressed onto fabric squares, by refuge and faith communities across the UK, and quilted together to form the walls of this Succah.

Please note

In order to ensure social distancing, we are currently only selling tickets online in bubbles of one and two. If you'd like to buy tickets in groups of 3+, please call Box Office on 020 7433 8988 (option 1) and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
