Sweet as honey are the words of the Torah, so show us your wonderful writing skills too.

For the last five months, JW3 Families Programmer Chloe has been reading Jewish folk tales and telling new stories about the characters in the JW3 Wild Wood, every Monday and Friday morning. Now it’s your turn to write the stories.

We’re inviting you to send us a story inspired by Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. You can use your favourite Wild Wood characters, write a story about how your family celebrates Rosh Hashanah and the sweet new year, or even use your favourite memory of Rosh Hashanah to get your ideas going.

Have a look at these past videos to kick-start your imaginations.

Chloe will choose and record the two best stories - one from children aged 5-7 and one from children aged 8-11.

On Friday 18th September they will be broadcast on our Facebook and YouTube pages, and sent to thousands of people on our email list the following week.

Please send in your stories to chloe@jw3.org.uk and let us know your name, your age and be sure to include the title of the story.

The stories should take between 3-5 minutes to read out and the deadline is Friday 28th August.

We can’t wait to read your entries!
