A fresh look at the way religion is reported in the media and new ways to cover the oldest stories of all.

With speakers including:

James Harding, former BBC Director of News interviewed by Libby Purves; Frank Cottrell Boyce, Screenwriter (Goodbye Christopher Robin, The Railwayman); Mohit Bakaya - religion commissioner for BBC Radio; Miqdad Versi; Simon Kelner; Tim Montgomerie; Rob Coldstream (Channel 4) Fatima Solaria Salaria BBC TV Commissioning Editor for Religion and Ethics; Dr Tim Hutchings of Durham University; Mark Thompson, former Director General of the BBC and now President and CEO of the New York Times;  Tom Loxley, Exec Editor of the Radio Times and Sandford St Martin Trustee; Charmaine Noble-Mclean (Content Director for Premier Praise); Emily Buchanan (journalist, former BBC Religious Affairs correspondent) andCole Moreton (writer and broadcaster exploring who we are and what we believe in.)

This all day Festival is a celebration of the best coverage of religion in the media, a forum for debate  about the coverage of faith issues and an opportunity to hear from those who commission and create content.
