Pilecki

Witold Pilecki volunteered to go into Auschwitz so he could learn about conditions there. On his escape he passed the information to the Western democracies. We will show the film “Pilecki” by Miroslaw Krzyszkowski, followed by a wider conversation about Auschwitz camp led by Professor Antony Polonsky, renowned specialist in history of Jews in Eastern Europe. Professor Polonsky will be joined by Professor Mary Fulbrook FBA, Professor of German History at UCL.
