Za'atar Rain

Arts & Culture

What if borders were as simple to cross as lines on a map?

This is a story of one Israeli’s journey to meet her friend, Luna less than 150 miles away. Through storytelling and live animation, Maya will try to reach Lebanon. Along the way, she will encounter Elon Musk, a quick-witted pigeon with a penchant for ABBA and a no-nonsense Jordanian Border guard.

Za’atar Rain is a one-woman show written, performed and with live animation by Israeli artist Maya Goldstein about a fantastical journey into the land of the cedars.
